SUBJECT: Should I jump to PC? (Laptop only)
and
waited.
THEN, Apple announced... nothing really new.
I wanted to get a laptop for portability, and heard rumor of Mac's new laptop, so I waited until this week. But the news is underwhelming. I thought there would be a bump in processor speed or drive speed. Nope.
So my question to all of you is:
Mac or PC Laptop?
FOR ME:
Mac pros:
Tons of existing software
Knowledge of the OS
professional laptop is lighter.
Win pros:
School access of tons of VPN software
professional laptop is faster.
Mac cons:
Expensive
Win cons:
I have no technical knowledge of the OS
I've used XP before, and don't care about which OS I'm working on really, but if there are any significant technical challenges I'd rather keep in my happy-safe zone.
Thanks all.
