Anna Eshoo (D-Ca.) voiced concern Thursday that a new capacity-expanding cable technology would disable digital set-top boxes that rely on CableCards to unscramble content, frustrating attempts by Congress to allow consumers to shop at retail stores for channel-surfing devices.
