SUBJECT: Gnomon's Organic Modeling 1 DVD question
Alex closes the top end of a 4 unit x 4 unit , half-cylinder by selecting CV's along the top row of the object and grid snapping them. He drags all of the selected CV's up in the side view (toward the top of the screen) and they all snap together inward, toward in the center. This does not work for me using Maya 5. All of the CV's move up and snap to the next grid line, but the do not snap together to close the cylinder. I can close the cylinder by selecting the CV's individually and snapping them inward toward the center one at a time, but I can't snap them together all at once like Alex demostrates on the DVD.
