Hello all, This is my first time posting on this forum. Recently I have noticed that DVDWS2 has been taking a long time to burn a disk. Case in point. I just finished a project of six 1/2 hour shows that were taking off my TIVO. Encoded through MainConcept MPEG encoder as a MPEG 2 file with Mpeg Layer 2 sound, audio bitrate 256 @48000. The total amount of disk space reported by DVDWS2 that was needed was 4.0 gigs. I added a motion backround and two animation effect to the menu. Total time to burn to a 4x -R disk, 1 hour 15 minutes. I think this is a little long. My system specs are as follows. Win XP with SP1 only. 3.2 GH P4. 1 mb of hard ram. 2 Maxtor 120 gig drives running on a striped raid with one 160 gig 7200 rpm drive serving as storage for all video. My burner is a 16x lite-on type, and flashed with the most recent firmware. DVDWS2 has all the latest patche's installed and the burning engin has all the latest dll's installed. Any help would be great.
Tony
