Retro SupaBoy portable SNES, the most fun you can have without a soldering iron

    From

    We previewed
back in the summer and loved the idea of toting 'round original SNES games without resorting to Ben Heck-style
. The handheld takes full-size cartridges, packs a 3.5-inch screen and a battery that's disappointingly rated for just two point five hours (best keep a power cable handy). It'll also double as a home console: there's an AV-out port and slots for two classic controllers for when you wanna kick it old-school. It's reportedly compatible with titles like Mario World, A Link to the Past and Starwing Starfox, but who needs them when we've got a mint condition copy of Tetris Attack at home? It'll cost you $80 and is available from Amazon as of yesterday -- we suggest you get to practicing blowing the dirt from the connectors, since you'll be doing a lot of it soon.

    Thanks to _Belial

very nice but shame about the battery life
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

Most reports I've seen it says NTSC/JAP only, hope I'm wrong.

Judging by the picture above I'd say you are wrong. It's got a US cart in.

My experience of using a PSP as an emulator was really good for handheld - but I also like the emulators on the Wii.

Complete waste of money. Shit battery life, cumbersome and getting hold of some of the games may be tricky and expensive. Pick up a second hand PSP and play not just Snes but Megadrive, Mame, PSX etc. Oh and PSP games, Movies and enjoy a decent battery life to boot.
