Default Anyone recommend me some text adventures suitable for English learners?

As many of you know, I teach English to kids here in China and I have a high level class which is basically 2 hours of free for all as they no longer need to learn grammar and shit.

I was looking at some old text adventures and thought I could maybe have a session in one of my classes where we can play one as a group, essentially giving the kids practice on verbs and their usage with nouns : OPEN door/chest/legs, USE key/screwdriver/rohypnol and so on.

My gaming history starts around the NES, so I dont have any real experience of text adventures, so what would be some options to play in class? Nothing with too many screens of solid text as they will probably get bored once the novelty has worn off and preferably with some humour thats not too british.
