I haven't used razor blades for years but I seem to remember that you could always use cheaper blades from an older model with the new handles. You're not really going to notice the difference between 2 or 3 blades and 5. IMHO the only reasons people think more blades work better are 1. Advertising 2. When trying a new type of blade it's always brand new in comparison to the worn out shit you had been using.

I get the feeling that these things don't work tbh, at best you'd only be sharpening one side of the blade if at all, and how much can a blade that's the width of tinfoil be sharpened?

A lot of good reviews on it, best way to look after blade is to rinse out very well and then blow through blades .. They seem to last quite a long time

I could never get on with the multi blade modern razors, except the semi-disposable Wilkinson Sword Xtreme 3 razors.

I'm wearing a beard these days and use a straight razor which takes single half razor blades (snapped in half) to tidy the neck line, thin it out when needed and straighten the lines. It's quite daunting the first few times and the missus had a trip to A&E after fitting a blade to it, but I can honestly say it's a very nice experience once you get it right.

I got a pack of 10 blades with the razor, which means 20 refills andI'll be staggered if that doesn't last me a year at least.

    Cheers,

    Malty

I bought one of these things. Bag of shite. Didn't work on my Gillette Mach 3 blades. Waste of money.
